From December 6 to 8 of this year in Moscow, under the auspices of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor), with the technical assistance of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), an international conference on “Food safety and joint efforts to reduce antimicrobial resistance” was held, where is the General Director of the RSE at the “National Reference Center for Veterinary Medicine” Berdikulov M.A. He participated together with representatives of European countries, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation and Tajikistan.
During the conference, participants discussed issues of food safety and joint work to reduce antimicrobial resistance, as well as reviewed successful experiences and recommendations from other countries.
It is important to note that the safety of food products indicates that there is no unacceptable risk associated with harmful effects on humans and future generations.
