In 2025, the laboratories of Infectious Disease Diagnostics in Astana and the Almaty branch of the Republican State Enterprise on the right of economic management “National Reference Center for Veterinary” (NRСV) participated in international proficiency testing (IPT) for serological studies using the ELISA method to detect antibodies to foot-and-mouth disease of serotypes O and Asia-1. This IPT was organized by the FGBI «ARRIAH» in Vladimir, which serves as the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) reference laboratory for the diagnosis of foot-and-mouth disease and avian influenza.
As a result of the proficiency testing, both laboratories successfully passed this round using the serological method, once again confirming the qualifications of the specialists in this field.
