Geoinformation monitoring and epizootological zoning
Geographically referenced data on blood-sucking arthropods, infection pathogens and the epizootic situation in the southern region of the Republic of Kazakhstan
In the course of the study, the locations where blood-sucking arthropods and foci of infectious diseases were found were geographically referenced. The resulting coordinates were entered into an automated information database.
Using ArcGIS, visualization and zoning maps of the southern region of the Republic of Kazakhstan by degree of epizootological tension were developed from the spatial data.
